The society we live in today is a society where you are paid millions of dollars to yell pointless thoughts. The society we live in today is no different than 50 years ago. It was once to popular culture for white people to paint their faces black and put on shows depicting black stereotypes. Before, African Americans were facing problems with racism and being discriminated against by whites, but now, in this century we are experiencing these problems within our own race. We have began to internalize the words “I bet that bitch look better red” made famous by prominent rapper Lil Wayne. A war has begun between light skins and dark skins because that is what the media is portraying as important. Its the blacks making fun of blacks and they don’t realize it because they’re blinded by money.
